The Comfy chooses Backbone as the product development tool to bolster cross-team collaboration and visibility.

 

Founded by the aptly named “Comfy Bros”, Michael & Brian Speciale, The Comfy is a brand dedicated to their name–comfort. Specializing in ultra-soft, plush, wearable blankets, the brand got their big break on Shark Tank, where they emerged victorious, securing investment from Shark Barbara Cocoran.

Since then, the brand has expanded from the original product to several variations, including kids sizes, teddy-bear finishes, and more. As the brand has grown, so have their product development needs. Backbone is excited to help standardize design processes and workflows, allowing the brand to continue scaling with confidence. 

Backbone will greatly reduce the workload on the current design team, leveraging specialized features to eliminate manual data entry and re-entry for core and carryover styles.
