True story: Backbone was created for designers, by designers. Our co-founder Andrew Klein worked in design at Ralph Lauren, for instance, while our VP Melissa Drayer designed her own dress label for over a decade. Both Andrew and Melissa emerged from those roles in design thinking, “THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY.”

And there is, now, thanks to Backbone. But while the game-changing benefits of our streamlined process are apparent to designers and product developers, how can you prove the impact of a design tool to your leadership team in a way that will justify the cost? How do you quantify the time spend or efforts of a designer? In short: How do you define the ROI of design?
